私が描きたいのは「記憶の底の光景」だ。
具体的な景色が在るわけではない。
甘味、温もり、湿り気、滑らかさ、匂い、官能性・・・
そういった、五感あるいは六感のどこかに潜み、
ふとした拍子に記憶の水底から立ち上ってきて
束の間「見えた」と感じる、そういった光景だ。
聖も性も包含する人間の「生」。
その生の痕跡を画布の上に表現したいと願っている。

What I’d like to draw is ‘a scene in the bottom of my memories’.
There is no specific scenery in my mind.
Sweetness, warmth, humidity, smoothness, smell, sensuality…
It is a scene hidden in one of these five or six senses. It emerges at an unexpected moment from the bottom of water, my memories, and I feel that I’ve caught a glimpse of it.
A human life contains both sacredness and sensuality. I hope to express traces of such human life on canvas.
